Holly Dyrland is an Alberta Artist working in acrylics.  She grew up drawing, but didn't start to work seriously in artistic communication until she studied Interior Design in Calgary at Mount Royal College.  Learning to draw and paint in design school gave her the background and the technical knowledge to continue, starting to explore painting artistically as well as for design purposes. She now lives in rural Alberta with her husband and three boys and draws inspiration from her daily life and experiences. Her paintings capture a sense of light and life of the subject, bringing the everyday beauty of Canadian landscapes to the canvas and into the homes of private collectors worldwide.
