Michelle is a biologist-turned-artist living on Vancouver Island. Her paintings are endlessly inspired by her home on the coast, surrounded by ancient cedars and the cold Pacific Ocean. A lover of details, her goal in painting is to break down these complex Canadian landscapes into their component parts, mostly in hopes of soothing her busy brain. She lives and paints in Victoria BC with her husband, two teenage boys and two dogs (you guessed it, also boys).
