Shining Path of Water
Few subjects appear in Canadian art as often as the wind-bent pines and open water of Georgian Bay. We currently hold 100+ original Georgian Bay paintings by artists including Victoria Pearce, Carley McCutcheon, David Carmichael, and John Visser taking in the whole shore — the Killarney ridges to the north, the limestone cliffs of the Bruce Peninsula to the west. These are originals, no prints and no editions, in oil and acrylic. Our gallery is in Orillia, an easy drive from the Bay itself.
Markers are evocative of Georgian Bay — they mark the region, not the spot a painting was made.
