Jodi Miller: Canadian Impressionist Painter

Jodi Miller is a contemporary Canadian painter whose impressionist landscapes focus on human connection, hope and possibility rendered through big skies and wide open views. Her gestural brushwork lends a modern take on familiar spaces, allowing the viewer to step into the paintings to discover layered passages, creating a place for memory and story.

From her studio in Saskatoon, SK, Jodi writes, studies her photos and draws on her personal experiences growing up on a family farm and travelling the world in her former employment as an aerospace engineer in the Royal Canadian Air Force, to create her award winning acrylic paintings that can be found in personal collections worldwide.

"I want viewers to experience my art as an extension of their own memories. My landscapes are meant to give space to breathe, reconnect, remember where you have come from and recognize the possibilities that are uniquely yours on the path ahead."
